Research intern
Team position: member, Synthesis Strand
Background: As of 2023, I will shortly graduate in computer science at Sorbonne-Universite, Paris (former UPMC), where I specialized in computer vision and data science. I am especially interested in designing and applying tools from these two fields to climate change monitoring and environmental studies. I am currently exploring deep learning methods to better estimate poverty indices from remote sensing data.
Key disciplines and skillsets: Machine learning, deep learning, image processing.
Expectations: Having a rather computer science oriented background, I will mostly be learning a lot from a socioeconomical or ecological stand point, as well as from the transdisciplinary research process.
