Economist at INRAE (the French national agronomic institute), working on MPA-POVERTY
Background: Economist who works with pluridisciplinary teams (including agronomists, meteorologists, climatologists and now geographers, ecologists & marine biologists !)
Key disciplines and skillsets: impact analysis, econometrics in the MPA-POVERTY project
Expectations: Hoping for some synergies between both projects, although PARSEC is more oriented to wealthy countries (USA, France, Japan) in contrast to the MPA-POVERTY project that focuses on poorer countries in the Indian Ocean. Sharing methodologies and data are among the objectives of the MPA-POVERTY project.
